In particular, the terms online trading platform (68.2%), trading account (70.6%), trading application (74.1%), day trading (74.5%) and forex (82.6%), all of which are not known at all or not sufficiently known by the said percentage of respondents. "The current dynamics of the online environment means that the knowledge of not only ordinary consumers but also experts often lags behind technological developments," confirms Robert Paľuš, director of Axil Academy, who has extensive experience in trading on leveraged markets such as Forex and CFDs. "Yet trading education is an essential part of every trader's or investor's professional life," he adds.
A positive finding is that 43% of Czechs surveyed said that if they were to start their own business in this area, the first step would be to take an educational course or study professional information, and the same proportion would seek out an investment advisor.
In response to the exponential growth in public interest in independent securities trading, Axil Academy has launched a new educational platform. Not only complete novices and moderately advanced, but also experienced traders in securities can find a suitable online tool for further education in the field at axilacademy.sk. The platform currently provides courses and other educational tools in Czech, Slovak and English.
